Abstract

The luminescence spectra of a low-temperature plasma of a pulse-periodic discharge in a He-Glu mixture at low pressures not exceeding several tens of Torr have been experimentally studied for the first time. It was found that in the spectral region of 200-850 nm there are intense UV bands of the obtained fragments of glutamine molecules, namely nitrogen molecules, as well as the emission of carbon monoxides CO* in the visible and infrared regions. The highest luminescence yield of molecules of glutamine fragments is achieved at a gas-discharge tube wall temperature not exceeding 140 °C.
