Аннотация
The problem of stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) in a plasma, placed in the field of a two-dimensionally localized and inhomogeneous pump wave is considered for scattering at arbitrary angle values. Exact solutions of the system of reduced wave equations for the amplitudes of the scattered electromagnetic wave and sound wave are obtained in the approximation of strong sound wave dissipation. The angular dependence of the scattered radiation intensity and its dependence on the inhomogeneity parameter are investigated.
